Terrie Sharp Named 2016 Detroit Legal Aid & Defenders Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year

Foley & Mansfield is please to announce that Detroit attorney Terrie Sharp has been named the 2016 Detroit Legal Aid & Defenders’ Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year. Terrie was recognized at a ceremony held on October 13, 2016.

Terrie has assisted hundred of clients with their applications to set aside convictions and update criminal conviction records. With Terrie’s assistance, individuals are able to rebuild their lives and realize greater success pursuing employment and housing opportunities.

The Legal Aid and Defender Association is the largest provider of free legal services to the indigent in Michigan, and one of the largest in the United States. Its mission is to provide comprehensive, aggressive legal advocacy and representation for residents of metropolitan Detroit.
