Lisa Lamm Bachman, managing partner of Foley & Mansfield’s Minneapolis office, has been named to the Minnesota Business 2017 (Real) Power 50 list.
“The (Real) Power 50 is an incredible collection of influential business people,” says Minnesota Business Editor in Chief Steve LeBeau. “They are the movers and the shakers in our business community, the kinds of people that everyone wants to know.”
Lamm Bachman took over the helm of Minneapolis operations for the national defense firm early this year. In addition to defending litigated business and employment claims, she frequently counsels clients concerning the legal implications of rules and guidelines issued by regulatory agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor. She is also a qualified Minnesota Rule 114 neutral and a member of the roster for the American Arbitration Association’s Employment Panel.
An impassioned advocate for women and children, Lamm Bachman was named the 2016 Tubman Pro Bono Safety Project Attorney of the Year and is a past recipient of the Journey of Hope Award from the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project. She has consistently been rated among the top lawyers and top women lawyers in Minnesota, and is rated AV® Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell®.
The nomination process consisted of a three month period where previous (Real) Power 50 members and the magazine’s Editorial Advisory Board put forward names for consideration, which were then internally vetted and the 50 winners chosen.
Winners will be celebrated with an evening event on April 27 at the InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront. To see the list of winners, register to attend the celebration, and for more information about the 2017 (Real) Power 50 Awards, visit minnesotabusiness.com/real-power-50-2017.
