June 6, 2025News

LOS ANGELES, JUNE 6, 2025 — Foley Mansfield is pleased to report a significant victory in Solano-Claustro v. Dal-Tile, a silica wrongful death case tried in Los Angeles Superior Court. After nearly five months of pre-trial and trial proceedings, our trial team prevailed as the jury returned an 11–1 defense verdict in favor of Foley Mansfield’s client, Dal-Tile, rejecting the plaintiffs’ claims of product defect and negligence.

The case was successfully tried by Los Angeles Partners Mark SayreAngela Sayre, and Peter Langbord, with key support from Margaret Johnson on brief writing, and Paralegal Joshua Sayre, as well as others from the Foley Mansfield dedicated silica defense team. Mark delivered the lead closing argument on behalf of all defendants – a strategic move that proved to be highly effective.
