The Foley & Mansfield family mourns the recent loss of our retired partner, Frank A. Dvorak.
Frank was a gentleman’s litigator, a strong mentor and resource to his peers, always eager to tackle any project. He relished his small town heritage, and above all, valued family, friends and life’s simple pleasures.
Frank began his legal career in California, moving back to Minnesota to join the firm of Mackall, Crounse and Moore before joining Foley & Mansfield in 1994. He retired in 2008 after a distinguished legal career centered on transportation law, business and general commercial litigation. Frank was especially well-known for his proficiency in the financing of motor carrier receivables.
Born and raised in Austin, Minnesota, Frank attended Hamline University, where he was the student manager of its NCAA Division III basketball team. A 1967 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Law, Frank was an avid Gophers fan and competitive softball player.
He will be sorely missed by his Foley & Mansfield family.
