Robert Brummond

Bob Brummond has focused his practice on toxic torts and mass tort litigation with an emphasis on asbestos-related diseases. He has been involved in personal injury asbestos litigation since 1987 in national coordinating counsel and local counsel roles for clients in various industries including refractory, electrical, friction, construction, pressure control, pumps, and heat management. He served as national coordinating counsel for a refractory client for over 12 years involving more than 30,000 cases in 34 states. Other toxic torts include benzene, mold, manganese, and silica litigation.
Bob also has extensive litigation experience in fiduciary litigation involving will and trust contests, suits for an accounting, determination of heirship proceedings, petitions for guardianships and conservatorships, abuse of power of attorney documents, discovery of asset cases, and other probate estate proceedings.
Other areas of Bob’s practice includes construction defect litigation and commercial litigation. The construction defect litigation includes commercial, hospital, and school construction defect claims as well as multi-residential unit claims involving roofing and cladding issues. The commercial litigation experience includes suits for an accounting, enforcement of restrictive covenants in employment matter, property damage cases, suits on notes, nuisance cases, replevin cases, rent and possession matters and breach of contract cases.
