Foley & Mansfield Expands in Florida; Opens Office in Tampa Bay Area

Foley & Mansfield today announced that it has opened an office in the Tampa Bay area to accommodate regional and national clients in construction litigation and insurance defense matters.

Construction litigator B. Kyle Morley, who joined the firm in April of 2018, will relocate from the firm’s Miami office to lead the firm’s Florida construction defense team, which serves contractors, developers, architects and engineers. With more than 10 years of complex civil litigation experience, Morley has significant experience litigating matters in state and federal courts throughout Florida, and is also licensed in New York and the District of Columbia.

The office will be managed by Virginia Easley Johnson, who also serves as Managing Partner of the firm’s Miami office, which opened in 2003. “We are excited to expand our services along the Gulf Coast and throughout central Florida. As construction needs continue to grow, we’ll be well positioned to assist existing and new clients throughout Florida,” she said, adding that the Tampa/St. Petersburg region has nearly a half billion dollars’ worth of construction projects underway or expected to begin this year.
