Kevin Newton defends employers of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, in all aspects of toxic tort-related litigation. He draws upon his practical experience and creative legal thinking to craft effective litigation strategies. Kevin has represented clients before federal and state trial and appellate courts, and arbitration tribunals.
Employers seek Kevin’s assistance in defending against a wide variety of claims related to asbestos and other toxic tort related claims.
Before joining Foley Mansfield, Kevin worked for a small Southern Illinois general practice firm, where he had the opportunity to gain experience in a wide array of legal fields, including: toxic torts, workers compensation, insurance defense, insurance coverage, nursing home abuse litigation, appellate practice, probate, and criminal defense.
Kevin actively manages a large caseload of toxic tort related cases for a Fortune 500 company, handling the cases from the filling of the initial complaint to the resolution of the matter for his clients, and everything in between. He has covered hundreds of depositions, crisscrossing the United States.
