Ye Xu is an attorney in Foley Mansfield’s Minneapolis office. She focuses her practice on defending manufacturers, supplies, distributors, and installers in product liability and toxic tort litigations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota.
Ye is also experienced in U.S. immigration law, family-based and employment-based. Her clients include technology firms, start-ups, small businesses, individual EB-5 investors, and entrepreneurs. She also assists families, individual immigrants, and asylum seekers.
Before attending law school in the United States, Ye practiced securities law in Beijing, China, focusing on Initial Public Offering (“IPO”). Prior to obtaining her J.D., she served as a law clerk for the firm, gaining experience in immigration, business and commercial, and international law. Ye is fluent in Mandarin.

- Assisted firm’s California office in a SIJS (Special Immigrant Juvenile Status) case, helping client terminate removal proceedings, obtain his SIJS and permanent residency (green card).
- Assisted in affirmative asylum filings and B-2 status extension applications for Minnesota-based pro bono clientele.
