Tom Pahl represents small and large businesses and their owners/shareholders in commercial and contract disputes, shareholder and fiduciary duty claims, lease and franchise litigation, and fraud and misrepresentation actions. His trial experience includes cases involving misappropriation of trade secrets, as well as violations of non-competes and confidentiality provisions. He has represented clients in a wide range of employment matters, ranging from wage and ERISA disputes to wrongful termination and discrimination claims.

Business owners and individuals value Tom’s advice and assistance in representing them, whether in the courtroom, before a jury, or in the boardroom.  Tom’s extensive national litigation and trial skills – coupled with years of financial and accounting experience – provide many advantages to clients who are embroiled in high-stakes litigation. In addition to the aggressive protection of their legal rights and commercial interests, Tom also advises companies on a broad array of proactive measures to control and minimize business risks and unnecessary litigation.

Tom also serves a team and national leader for clients involved with product liability and mass tort claims across the country, including trials for asbestos-related litigation and the defense of product design-defect and class-action claims on behalf of manufacturers, suppliers and distributors.

Outside the courtroom, Tom is a Boy Scout leader, member of the Eden Prairie Baseball Association, and a sitting Member of the Foley Mansfield Foundation, the non-profit charitable arm of the firm.

Tom remains committed to achieving the outcome that best accomplishes the goals and wishes of his clients.  With thirty-plus years of practice, Tom has many clients who not only value Tom’s strategies but they keep returning for his advice and perspective.
