Stephen Vedova is a partner in Foley Mansfield’s Chicago office, where he focuses his practice on professional liability, insurance defense, product liability, construction law, and medical malpractice. Steve has extensive experience litigating disputes in venues ranging from administrative hearings up to the Illinois Supreme Court. Stephen has handled all aspects of product liabilities claims, ranging from aerospace and architecture to trucking and mechanical claims.
Steve is a first-generation American and the son of a doctor. In his 25+ years of experience, he has represented a wide swath of professionals and businesses.
Fluent in Italian, Steve represents a diverse mix of businesses and governmental entities in the U.S. and abroad. His past clients include amusement parks, aviation manufacturers, elevator companies, Italian consulting firms, the World Food Organization, food manufacturing companies, insurance companies, trucking companies, and hospitals. He also has experience handling retail, hospitality, and commercial location claims ranging from premise liability to rolling stock to personal injury claims. He was commissioned by the United Nation’s World Bank to serve as a co-drafter of proposed UCC legislation in the Republic of Belarus and served as a consultant in the Amanda Knox murder trial.
