Mark Mooney, a partner in Foley Mansfield’s Detroit office, focuses his practice in the areas of product liability, insurance coverage, environmental claims, and general liability defense. He works primarily in asbestos-related disease litigation.

In the environmental arena, Mark has represented insurers in national coverage litigation claims brought against them by a policy holder arising from multiple Superfund sites, insurance coverage litigation arising from oil well contamination, and third party litigation claims arising from a Ferric Chloride release at a waste water treatment plant, a second gasoline spill on an already active remediation site, and a perforation of the containment barrier by a remediation company causing further damage.

With significant experience bringing high volume, complex cases to trial, his expertise in developing litigation preparation and strategy has resulted in successful outcomes in particularly difficult cases.
