REV:
Jake Peden, an Attorney in Foley Mansfield’s Minneapolis office, defends his clients in a variety of areas including civil litigation, commercial disputes, secured transactions, employment law, insurance coverage, construction defect, professional liability, medical malpractice, personal injury, civil rights, land use/zoning, and bankruptcy.
Prior to joining Foley Mansfield, Jake represented hundreds of clients in the U.S. District of Minnesota Bankruptcy Court. His tenure with the Court resulted in a number of litigation victories, including a published opinion overruling the bankruptcy trustee and finding Minnesota’s earning exemption statute applies to cash not being held in the Debtor’s financial accounts. Jake has also represented cities and counties and secured dismissals or favorable outcomes in a wide-range of municipal liability matters, from data practices to zoning enforcement to officer-involved shootings. Jake has experience handling all aspects of litigation, in both federal and state court, and his results-oriented mentality leads to creative solutions and cost-efficient resolution.
