Greg Geismann, Of Counsel in Foley Mansfield’s St. Louis office, is an accomplished litigator with over 25 years of experience. He handles matters in a variety of areas for his clients, including class actions, nursing home litigation, healthcare, personal injury, and complex torts. Greg has particular experience in corporate law, advising organizations of all sizes in not only starting their business, but providing further advice along the way, including setting up benefits and creating employment manuals.

Greg received his Bachelor’s degree at Tulane University and his J.D. at the University of South Dakota School of Law.  Following law school, Greg joined his father’s law firm, which created and served as legal counsel to Tri Township Water District in Southern Illinois.  Greg also argued five appellate court cases in Illinois, and was associated with Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund.

After his days as a solo practitioner, Greg became Senior Managing Attorney at Show Me State Legal Services, St. Louis, Missouri, where he led litigation on behalf of over 50 businesses, focusing primarily on healthcare-related issues.  During this time, Greg represented physicians, dentists and pharmacists in several state-regulatory actions, employment matters, and contract disputes.

Before joining Foley Mansfield, Greg worked for several insurance defense firms, handling cases in motor vehicle accidents, slip & falls, product liability, real estate title disputes, nursing home abuse, and complex torts.

Greg is fluent in German and Spanish.
