Doug McIntyre is Partner Emeritus in Foley Mansfield’s Minneapolis office. His 30 years of general liability work involved the representation of clients and their insurers spanning the United States. During his tenure, Doug’s practice concentrated on the defense of national, regional, and local general contractors, land developers, subcontractors, architects, construction managers, engineers and materialmen. His cases routinely involved highly complex, multi-million dollar matters involving all types of commercial and residential projects. Doug was board-certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Certified Civil Trial Specialist, an honor earned by less than 3% of Minnesota lawyers. Doug frequently lectured to his peers, clients, and insurers in the area of construction and professional design law, subrogation law, and workers’ compensation law.  He achieved an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating possible from his peers for legal ability and adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability, and diligence. Doug was also been recognized by Super Lawyers  as a top Minnesota attorney.

Doug retired from practice in 2023.
