Kevin O’Connor is Partner Emeritus in Foley Mansfield’s Miami office. Throughout his litigation career, which encompassed over four decades, he focused his practice on medical malpractice defense, product liability, and construction litigation. For many years, Kevin acted as Managing Partner of the Miami office and as Chair of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Division.
Kevin retired in October 2022.

Community Service
- A past member of the Florida Bar Standing Committee on Professionalist, Kevin served as chairman of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the 11th Judicial Circuit. He has lectured extensively at legal and medical seminars throughout his career.
- Kevin has served on various public service and charitable boards and committees including the Archdiocese of Miami Education Foundation and is a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Edwards University.
- He served a term as Commissioner of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Third District of Court Appeals.
