Evan Ponec, an Attorney in Foley Mansfield’s Los Angeles office, is an experienced litigator with significant trial experience.
Prior to joining Foley Mansfield, Evan defended clients facing misdemeanor or felony charges as a Deputy Public Defender with the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office. In that role, he conducted numerous jury trials to verdict, drafted a variety of motions, consulted with appointed experts to build defense strategies, and more.
Evan earned his J.D. at University of California Irvine School of Law, where he was awarded the Dean’s Award for Public Interest Litigation and Pro Bono High Honors, designating him as having devoted over 200 hours to pro bono work during his time at the school.
