Michael Antikainen is a partner in Foley Mansfield’s Chicago office. He primarily practices in toxic and mass tort defense, but also has a background in premises liability, consumer products, and Uniform Commercial Code litigation.

Michael is well-versed in all aspects of litigation from drafting and arguing motions to trial preparation and preparation of appellate briefs on behalf of his clients. His experience also includes conducting hundreds of arbitrations and mediations, and a first chair jury trial verdict. Michael is actively involved in Cook County, Madison County, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Federal asbestos matters.

Michael also has an interest in sports law, having served both as an editor for the Marquette Sports Law Review, and as a research assistant involved in the preparation of contracts and agent/client retainer agreements.
