H. Wayne Clark, Jr., is a Partner in Foley Mansfield’s Tampa Bay and Miami offices. Wayne practices in both state and federal courts and focuses on all aspects of construction law, trucking law, premises and security liability, condominium disputes, wrongful death, and commercial litigation. As a leader of the Firm’s Hospitality practice group, Wayne has extensive experience litigating cases on behalf of hotels, motels, convenience stores, grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops from pre-suit through trial. He also has experience in a wide gamut of products liability cases including car, truck, gym equipment, kitchen equipment, and medical and office equipment.

A thriving portion of his practice is devoted to commercial litigation as well as representation of both high-end and economy hotels on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and national real estate developers. He handles construction litigation throughout the state of Florida, representing developers, general contractors, sub-contractors, and design professionals for both residential and commercial properties. Wayne has litigated routine lien matters to complex multi-million dollar construction defect cases. He serves as counsel for a Fortune 500 construction company.

Wayne is adept at handling the gamut of discovery issues and has taken thousands of depositions. he has considerable experience researching complicated legal issues and drafting substantive pleadings in matters ranging from multi-district and class action litigation to complex litigation in state and federal courts.

Before joining the firm, Wayne was a partner at a state firm in Florida, running its construction division. He gained extensive experience in the construction arena while serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, where he worked as an Airborne Engineer and Construction Engineer. He also served two years as a Staff Attorney for The Honorable Robert Rosenberg and The Honorable Victor Tobin in the 17th Judicial Circuit.
