Storm, Hegvik and Worthington Named to 2015 Missouri Rising Star® List

Foley & Mansfield is pleased to announce that three attorneys from the firm’s St. Louis office have been named to the 2015 Missouri Rising Star® List.

Partner Carla C. Storm is being recognized as a Rising Star® for the third consecutive year for her work in General Litigation. Her practice is focused primarily in the areas of toxic tort and mass tort litigation, personal injury, products and premises liability. She is licensed in both Illinois and Missouri. 

Also named to the list for the first time this year are attorneys Benjamin J. Hegvik for Construction Litigation and Joshua N. Worthington for Personal Injury/Products Defense.

Hegvik focuses his practice in construction litigation, representing design professionals, builders and developers. Licensed in Illinois and Missouri, he is a member of the American Bar Association; Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis; Illinois Bar Association and Missouri Bar Association.

Worthington, also licensed in Illinois and Missouri, focuses his practice in the area of personal injury/product liability defense, specifically, asbestos litigation. He previously served as an Assistant Attorney General, defending the State of Missouri and its agencies and employees against civil litigation in every level of Missouri state and federal courts.

Rising Star® is a rating service of up-and-coming attorneys who are age 40 or younger, or who have been in practice for 10 years or less. The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. No more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in a state receive this recognition.
