Storm, Hegvik and Staley Named to 2016 Missouri Rising Star® List

Foley & Mansfield is pleased to announce that three attorneys from the firm’s St. Louis office have been named to the 2016 Missouri Rising Star® List. 

Partner Carla C. Storm is being recognized as a Rising Star® for the fourth consecutive year for her work in General Litigation. Her practice is focused primarily in the areas of toxic tort and mass tort litigation, personal injury, products and premises liability. She has first-chair jury trial experience in civil litigation matters in both circuit and federal courts, and is licensed in both Illinois and Missouri. Storm also holds the Martindale Hubbell AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating, the highest possible rating for legal ability and adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability, and diligence.

Named to the list for the second time this year is attorney Benjamin J. Hegvik for Construction Litigation. Licensed in Illinois and Missouri, Hegvik represents design professionals, builders and developers. He is a member of the American Bar Association; Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis; Illinois Bar Association and Missouri Bar Association.

Also named for the first time is attorney Jeremy T. Staley for Construction Litigation. Licensed in Illinois and Missouri, Staley represents clients in the construction industry as well as defending clients in complex product liability issues. He is a member of the American Bar Association; Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis; and the Defense Research Institute.

Rising Star® is a rating service of up-and-coming attorneys who are age 40 or younger, or who have been in practice for 10 years or less.  The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.  No more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in a state receive this recognition.
