Whitney D. Seltzer, an attorney in Foley & Mansfield’s New York office, is an experienced asbestos defense litigator who represents prominent national corporations in all aspects of complex product liability, toxic tort and personal injury litigation. Her clients have included manufacturers and suppliers of electrical and lighting products, heating and ventilation equipment, building materials and automotive components.
Whitney is skilled in all aspects of litigation, including investigations, discovery and depositions, motion practice, trial preparation and settlement negotiations. As national coordinating counsel for several clients, she has managed all discovery matters across the United States, including multiple product-specific document productions.
Previously, Whitney served as an in-house supervising attorney for a livery and commercial automotive insurer, where she determined defense strategy and directed allocation of resources for hundreds of arbitrations per month.
