Stephanie L. Freismuth is an attorney in Foley & Mansfield’s Los Angeles office. She practices in the area of toxic/mass tort and product liability, with an emphasis on defending asbestos-related claims for product manufacturers and distributors.

Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie served as a Law Fellow with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office in the General Counsel division, where among other duties, she researched and analyzed complex contractual issues in preparation for Los Angeles’ host city bid for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

During law school, Stephanie clerked at an Illinois law firm and completed externships at both the Cook County Public Defender’s Office and the Federal Public Defender in Urbana, Illinois. She was also a member of the University of Illinois Federal Civil Rights clinic, where she was provisionally admitted to the Central District of Illinois and appointed as counsel for a pro se petitioner bringing a 1983 civil rights action against Illinois Correctional Officers.
