BIOGRAPHY

In his 35 plus years as an attorney, Roger Rea has represented individuals, small businesses and Fortune 500 companies in a wide variety of personal injury litigation including toxic tort, trucking, automobile, medical negligence, FELA, and a wide range of product liability matters.  Roger Rea has represented his clients in the state and federal courts of 8 states throughout the Midwest.  For the past 30 years, Roger Rea has also volunteered his time for pro bono representation of individuals through the Volunteer Lawyers Program of Legal Services Of Eastern Missouri.

In addition to decades of litigation experience in numerous aspects of individual and corporate experience, Roger Rea brings a tenacious and detail-oriented focus to every matter for all represented clients to bring about the most favorable result.  Because of this, he brings a breadth and depth of perspective to a client’s case that is unique.

Before joining Foley Mansfield, Roger Rea worked as a trial lawyer at a Midwest regional law firm representing both individual and corporate clients in a wide variety of matters from medical negligence to product liability, before starting his own litigation practice in the mid-1990’s specializing in plaintiff’s medical malpractice and product liability litigation and personal injury defense work for small businesses as well as large corporations.

Roger Rea was named as part of a select Regional Counsel team set up by several large product manufacturers to defend their products in lawsuits covering 6 states in the Midwest.

Over the years, Roger Rea has obtained favorable judgments and rulings for his clients in cases involving trucking accidents, medical negligence, toxic tort, FELA and product liability matters involving products from vehicle design and tanker trailer safety to medical products.

For over 20 years, Roger has been representing indigent clients through the Volunteer Lawyers' Program for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri
