Jessica Espinoza

BIOGRAPHY

Experienced litigator Jessica Espinoza guides her clients through the complex matters which arise in the course of business, particularly those involving general liability issues including premises liability, motor vehicle liability, condominium liability, and construction defect cases. She has represented clients of all sizes, including individuals, insurance companies, and local and regional businesses in a variety of fields.

Jessica attended the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she was executive editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal and president of the Latinx Law Students Association. As a law student, she acted as a student advocate, handling cases for those in need. Included among them were small businesses and individuals hoping to resolve tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service, as well as two asylum seekers in York County Prison in need of assistance to prepare for their court hearings through the Immigration Detention Service Project in York County Prison. Additionally, Jessica participated in several immigration-related events, including Know Your Rights workshops. Her pro bono work throughout law school led the University of Connecticut School of Law to award her the designation of Pro Bono Honoree of 100+ Hours.

Jessica is fluent in Spanish and often serves as a translator/interpreter. She is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association, and the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association.
