BIOGRAPHY
A partner in Foley Mansfield’s Chicago office, James L. Svajgl focuses his practice in toxic tort, medical malpractice, and general liability, defending wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury cases in both state and federal court. His representative clients include product manufacturers, premises owners, and contractors facing complex, multi-party litigation.
James also serves as national coordinating counsel and local counsel in the defense of asbestos claims brought against clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses. He has first chaired personal injury actions and second chaired medical malpractice cases in Illinois.
