Dustin Priebe

BIOGRAPHY

Dustin J. Priebe, an Equity partner in Foley Mansfield’s Denver and Los Angeles offices, and is the chair of the firm's Transportation practice group. He is a civil trial attorney with more than a decade of experience. He frequently litigates complex cases involving numerous parties, diverse claims for relief, and insurance coverage overlay. Dustin has acted as the first-chair attorney in several multi-day trials and handled numerous appeals. He has also postured countless cases for favorable resolution through settlement negotiations and concise motions practice in the trial court. He has extensive experience with all facets of litigation and has successfully resolved disputes throughout Colorado and the country. These matters have ranged from multi-party tort actions to commercial and contractual disputes, to personal injury, wrongful death, and construction defect matters. 

Among his other accomplishments, Dustin obtained summary judgment recovering control of an operating business and the appointment of a receiver; set aside a default judgment entered against the manufacturer of a proprietary product and successfully defended against the underlying action; and prevailed in a multi-day, out-of-state trial and on the subsequent appeal acting through local counsel.

Dustin graduated with honors from the University of San Diego School of Law, after transferring from California Western School of Law. He received the highest grade in three of his classes, received a full academic scholarship during his final year, and also completed an externship with Justice Richard D. Huffman of the California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District. Dustin previously worked with Podoll & Podoll, P.C., in Greenwood Village, and was also an assistant U.S. Attorney with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California in San Diego, California.

A native of northern Wisconsin, Dustin and his family now call Colorado home.  Dustin currently lives in Lone Tree, and has hiked numerous 14ers, coaches youth basketball, and enjoys golf whenever he can.
