Paralegal Sandra Smits, based in Foley Mansfield’s Los Angeles office, works closely with the firm’s Toxic Tort/Mass Tort and Silica Litigation practice groups, and has additional experience assisting with Personal Injury matters.

Sandra provides comprehensive litigation support, including reviewing and analyzing pleadings, discovery materials, medical records, and expert reports to inform case strategy. She prepares case summaries, chronological reports, and exhibit indexes, and drafts legal documents such as subpoenas, notices, and discovery responses. In addition, she coordinates client updates, tracks case deadlines, and assists with trial preparation.

Drawn to the legal field by a lifelong interest in problem-solving and critical thinking, Sandra comes from a family of lawyers and witnessed early on the meaningful impact of legal advocacy. She is a licensed attorney in the Philippines and brings extensive experience assisting clients in both business and legal matters, domestically and internationally.
