Robert A. Kitsmiller, Of Counsel with Foley Mansfield, leads the firm’s Denver, Colorado office. He focuses his practice on insurance defense and toxic/mass tort litigation, with an emphasis on asbestos defense. With nearly four decades of litigation experience, Robert represents businesses, insurers, contractors, and individuals in complex civil matters throughout Colorado. Robert is known for providing practical legal counsel and developing strategic solutions tailored to each client’s unique objectives.

Before joining Foley Mansfield in 2025, Robert spent more than 40 years with Podoll & Podoll, P.C., where he practiced across all aspects of complex commercial litigation and later became a partner. Throughout his career, he has represented clients in a broad range of matters, including commercial, business, construction, insurance, fraud, condominium, estate, fiduciary, and tort litigation. This diverse background enables him to provide practical, strategic counsel across a wide variety of complex disputes while drawing on extensive courtroom experience.
