Ann Park, Partner in Foley & Mansfield's Los Angeles office, spoke with Law360 Pulse about her new role as President of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA). Ann provides details on her priorities for the organization, such as finding new office space, as well as past and ongoing diversity initiatives, including efforts by LACBA to get more Black men into law school. Since taking office, Ann has hit the ground running, bringing LACBA together with sixteen other legal groups in California to send a joint letter to the State Bar expressing concerns about plans to create paths to licensure other than an exam. She discussed the letter, which presents specific points of concern with the current plans, with The Daily Journal in a recent article titled, "Groups Detail Possible Problems with State Bar's Non-Exam Pathway."
