Munk Elected to Board of Directors of Air And Waste Management Association, Oregon Chapter

Foley & Mansfield is pleased to announce that Ilene M. Munk has been elected to the Board of Directors  of the Oregon Chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association. She will serve a two-year term, effective immediately.  

Founded in 1907, the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization enhancing knowledge and expertise by providing a neutral forum for information exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach to more than 5,000 environmental professionals in 65 countries. A&WMA promotes global environmental responsibility and increases the effectiveness of organizations to make critical decisions that benefit society.

Ms. Munk is an experienced environmental defense attorney with a national Superfund and environmental regulatory practice handling contaminated property matters including emerging contaminants such as PFAS. A former EPA enforcement attorney,  Munk also co-chairs Foley & Mansfield’s national environmental practice group. She may be reached at imunk@foleymansfield.com.
