Melanie Ayerh Joins Los Angeles Office

Foley & Mansfield today announced that attorney Melanie A. Ayerh has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office, where she will focus her practice in Product Liability and Toxic Tort / Mass Tort litigation, specifically, asbestos defense.

Prior to entering the field of law, Melanie had a professional career in genetic research. She is a 2014 graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she served as an editor of the UCLA Journal of Law and Technology, and  interned for both a major oil and gas company and a multinational biotech company. Prior to passing the bar, she clerked for the firm’s LA office.

“Melanie’s scientific background is a valuable asset in an area of law that involves scientific issues of exposure and causation,” says Managing Partner Keith Ameele. “We are delighted to have her on board as part of our litigation team.”
