Foley & Mansfield is pleased to announce that Keith M. Ameele will be a featured presenter at the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) 2019 Diversity and Inclusion Conference on September 27 at Loyola Law School.
Ameele, joined by other law firm leaders, will participate in the session “Summit of Managing Partners and Diversity Partners: What Works and What Doesn’t?” This diverse panel of partners and D&I leaders of various law firms will candidly discuss some of the more successful programs that have helped their law firms achieve demonstrated measures of success, including: D&I policies and initiatives, goals, accountability, certification options and the use of the business case argument. The panel will also explore D&I initiatives based on the best intentions but that do not necessarily achieve the best results and will candidly discuss some of the more complex, systemic challenges that continue to be encountered. This panel will explore what works and what doesn’t in a conversational setting to share ideas and enhance the D&I dialogue in the legal profession.
Ameele is the managing partner of Foley & Mansfield’s Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s executive committee. He concentrates his practice entirely on litigation, with an emphasis on product liability, toxic tort, mass tort, general negligence and business litigation.
