Four Foley & Mansfield Attorneys Named Minnesota North Star Lawyers for Pro Bono Work

Foley & Mansfield extends our congratulations and appreciation to Minneapolis attorneys Lisa Lamm Bachman, Sarah E. Roeder, Tessa A. Mansfield and Seymour J. Mansfield, recognized as 2015 North Star Lawyers by the Minnesota State Bar Association. The North Star list highlights MSBA member attorneys who provide 50 hours or more of legal services in a calendar year to low income people at no fee – and without expectation of fee. 

Partner Lisa Lamm Bachman, Pro Bono Coordinator for Foley & Mansfield’s Minneapolis office, served the Twin Cities Tubman Safety Project and the Children’s Law Center of Minnesota.  Sarah E. Roeder volunteered with the Minnesota Assistance Counsel for Veterans VETLAW program, while Tessa Mansfield’s pro bono work has centered on immigration matters with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid. Seymour Mansfield, former Executive Director and Chief Counsel for Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, also focused his pro bono efforts on immigration matters.

Foley & Mansfield’s national Pro Bono Practice has provided thousands of hours of free legal services ranging from resolving rental disputes to advocating for children in foster care.  The firm is a signatory to the Pro Bono Institute Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge®.
