Foley Mansfield Announces Partner Kimberly L. Rivera as New Head of the Firm’s California Offices

 

Foley Mansfield, a national law firm with 14 offices across the U.S., announced today that partner Kimberly L. Rivera has been named managing partner of the firm’s California offices in Los Angeles/Monrovia and Walnut Creek.

Rivera focuses her work on the defense of complex product liability, toxic tort, environmental and other general liability litigation. She manages high-risk product liability and talc manufacture claims for the firms Fortune 100 and 500 clients through trial and resolution. She has served as national coordinating counsel for major friction clients against toxic tort, asbestos, products liability, and premises liability cases from inception to trial. Rivera is also experienced in a range of insurance defense matters.

“Kim is a highly-skilled litigator with equally impressive leadership experience,” said Kyle Mansfield, managing partner of the firm. “Her guidance in the California offices will enhance our ability to serve clients in complex litigation matters in this region, and her presence and executive-level engagement as a managing partner will be a significant addition to our skilled, and diverse leaders across the firm. Rivera holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California (1998) and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Latina Lawyers Association, Mexican American Bar Association, and Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
