Foley and Mansfield Attorneys Represent Wings Financial Credit Union in Bank Acquisition

Foley & Mansfield is pleased to announce that it served as legal counsel to Wings Financial Credit Union, Minnesota’s largest credit union, in its acquisition of Neighborhood National Bank. Due to the size and complexity of the transaction, handling attorneys, Ailana McIntosh and Thomas Lallier, tapped into the resources and expertise of many of the firm’s commercial team members, including the banking and finance, real estate, and employment practice specialists.  The Foley & Mansfield team worked tirelessly over several months to successfully negotiate and document the structure of the transaction, conduct a thorough due diligence review, and provide sound legal guidance to its appreciative client.  Now that the purchase agreement is completed, the firm looks forward to working closely with the parties to accomplish a smooth closing, set to occur following regulatory approvals, sometime in the third quarter of 2020.  A link to the news article can be accessed by clicking on the following link.
