Foley Mansfield is pleased to congratulate our Los Angeles Partner, Ann I. Park, on her inclusion in the Daily Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers list. The list annually recognizes 100 accomplished attorneys in California, highlighting their successes from the past year in a profile feature.

Park’s work defending her clients against complex, high-risk toxic tort, asbestos products liability and premises liability actions is highlighted in the Daily Journal’s profile. Her passion for the work, including diving into medical and scientific articles, has benefitted her practice, as she states, “It’s really challenging and fun to get into the facts of the cases and defend against the allegations, to try to defend our clients as best as we can. It’s like being Colombo in a mystery, trying to figure out what’s going on here. That’s why I find it interesting, enjoyable and stimulating — it’s not just dry legal work.”

The profile goes on to discuss a recent settlement Park reached for industrial products and solutions manufacturer 3M, as well as her work to increase membership as president of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. “Membership in the bar associations has been really challenging in the past few years because a lot of people don’t see the value in joining and being a member. But I think the pandemic helped prove our case, and people are seeing the tremendous benefits that membership in LACBA affords in terms of networking, client development, mentorship and CLEs,” she told the publication.

Park has extensive experience in toxic tort defense, commercial business disputes, insurance coverage and environmental law matters. She concentrates her practice in defending complex, high-risk toxic tort, asbestos products liability and premises liability actions. She is current President and former Senior Vice President of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is a member of the organization’s Board of Trustees. She has been honored by a variety of other publications and organizations for her work in the past, including Southern California Super Lawyers and the State Bar of California.
