New Orleans Attorney Ebony Morris Hughes Elevated to Partner

10.27.26 – New Orleans, LA – Foley Mansfield is proud to announce the elevation of attorney Ebony S. Morris Hughes to Partner.

Based in our New Orleans office, Ebony is a distinguished attorney known for her dedication to excellence and client service. She represents a diverse range of clients, including educational institutions, Fortune 100 and 500 companies, insurance carriers, small businesses, and individuals, in matters involving transportation, mass tort, complex casualty, and talc defense litigation.

Ebony is an active participant in both local and national bar associations. She served as Chair of DRI’s 2025 Diversity for Success Seminar and was recently appointed Co-Vice Chair of the Diversity Committee for the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, an invitation-only organization of lawyers who focus their practice on the defense of civil claims and representation of insurers and corporations. Locally, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, which represents more than 1,100 defense attorneys across the state.

Beyond her casework and presence in the defense bar, Ebony has been an active contributor to the firm’s mentorship and diversity initiatives, reflecting Foley Mansfield’s on-going commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative professional culture.
