National Law Firm, Foley Mansfield, Designates New Midwest and West Coast Office Managing Partners

July 2, 2025News

Los Angeles, CA and St. Louis, MO, 7/2/2025 – Foley Mansfield is pleased to announce that Partner Alexa Newton has been selected as the Office Managing Partner in St. Louis and Mark D. Sayre has been designated as the Office Managing Partner in Los Angeles and Walnut Creek.  “Alexa and Mark are both highly accomplished attorneys with the skills and mindset necessary to successfully lead our offices,” said Kyle Mansfield, Managing Partner of Foley Mansfield.

Alexa Newton, who assumed the St. Louis Office Managing Partner role from Daniel Donahue on July 1, is the co-chair of the firm’s Product Liability practice group. She has practiced in the areas of Toxic Tort and Mass Tort Litigation focusing on asbestos litigation. She has defended clients named in negligence and strict liability claims in both state and federal litigation in Illinois and Missouri. Much like Alexa’s tailored approach to litigation with her clients, Alexa will lead St. Louis with strategy, poise and creativity at the forefront.  Having completed the CMA Global Leadership Advantage Program, Foley Mansfield is confident that her critical leadership skills will continue to help the firm achieve its business goals.

Mark D. Sayre has repeatedly proven his capacity for leadership, between heading the firmwide silica practice, serving as co-chair of the firm’s PFAS practice group and holding various leadership positions in legal community organizations. He has experience as National Coordinating Counsel for large manufacturers, serving, additionally, as a crisis manager for clients navigating challenges and threats which may undermine a company’s reputation for integrity, and being retained as a qualified, trial legal malpractice expert. Mark will lead Foley Mansfield and its California offices into the future, staying abreast and ahead of the potential litigation risks to firm clients, while providing a challenging and rewarding legal work environment for the attorneys and staff in his offices.
