Minneapolis Partner Elizabeth Sorenson Brotten Named as Co-Chair of 2027 IADC Convention
Foley Mansfield is pleased to announce that Minneapolis Partner Elizabeth Sorenson Brotten will serve as Chair of the 2027 International Association of Defense Counsel Convention. Liz will take on the role alongside her husband and co-Chair, Eric Brotten, Privacy Officer and Vice President of Compliance for Dallas-based AccentCare, one of the nation’s largest providers of in-home health care services.

Liz serves on Foley Mansfield’s Executive Committee, Chair of the Product Liability practice group and Co-Chair of the Ultra-Processed Foods practice group. Her practice focuses on defending claims involving alleged exposure to talc, asbestos, silica, benzene, and PFAS, both locally and nationally.
Since joining IADC in 2019, Liz has been deeply involved in the organization, serving in numerous leadership roles, including Chair of IADC’s In-House & Law Firm Management Committee and “Keeper of the Flame” for the 2023 Sledgens Trial Academy faculty.
