Foley & Mansfield today announced that attorney Melissa K. Roeder has joined the firm’s Seattle office, where she will focus her practice in insurance defense, including toxic tort, premise owners, product liability and personal injury litigation.

Roeder, an experienced trial attorney with more than a decade of civil litigation and insurance defense experience, joins the firm from Seattle’s Forsberg & Umlauf, where she was chair of the Asbestos and Toxic Tort Group. She is currently President of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the King County Bar Association Judicial Screening Committee. Roeder was named among the 2014 Top 50 female Attorneys in the state by Washington Law & Politics and has been named to the Washington Rising Star / Super Lawyer® lists since 2007.
