Louis C. Klein Appointed to LACBA Armed Forces Committee

August 23, 2016News

F&M is pleased to announce that the Los Angeles County Bar Association has appointed partner Louis C. Klein to its Armed Forces Committee for the 2016-2017 year. This distinguished committee provides a range of services to assist veterans, active military personnel and reservists. Through its Veterans Legal Services Project, the committee provides pro bono legal assistance and with a range of legal matters which can grow to become major obstacles to employment or stability.

Mr. Klein, who serves as pro bono coordinator for Foley & Mansfield’s Los Angeles office, has led the firm’s efforts in sponsoring and manning several of the Project’s legal clinics for the past 1 ½ years. The Project’s current initiative is a collaboration with U.S. VETS and Los Angeles County to offer pro bono legal services to veterans at Patriotic Hall in downtown Los Angeles. In addition, Mr. Klein will seek to assist with the Committee’s programming initiatives and fundraising efforts.
