Ray Bell is the Managing Partner of the Edwardsville office of Foley Mansfield. Ray practices primarily in the areas of commercial and construction litigation, toxic tort defense and insurance coverage litigation. He has significant experience in federal and state trial and appellate courts in Missouri and Illinois, including successfully trying numerous jury cases to verdict. He has also been involved in representing clients in many arbitrations and mediations.
His commercial and construction litigation experience includes contract disputes, construction defects, commercial/equipment lease disputes, real estate disputes, creditors’ rights, and foreclosure and replevin proceedings for financial institutions and realty companies. His toxic tort defense experience includes cases involving benzene, silica, mold, welding fumes, asbestos and other chemical exposures. He has represented both insurance carriers and insureds in various coverage disputes.
