Jacob Sawyer Named to Illinois Rising Star® List

Foley & Mansfield is pleased to announce that Jacob D. Sawyer, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, has been named to the 2015 Illinois Rising Star® list.  Jacob was selected for his work in the area of Personal Injury-Products Defense. Jacob primarily represents manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, premises owners, and contractors, defending claims alleging asbestos, benzene, and welding rod exposure.

Rising Star® is a rating service of up-and-coming attorneys who are age 40 or younger, or who have been in practice for 10 years or less.  The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.  No more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in a state receive this recognition.
