Foley Mansfield Welcomes Experienced Litigator Jonathan Lively to its Chicago Office

CHICAGO, April 6, 2023 – Foley Mansfield, a national law firm with 14 offices across the U.S., announced today that highly experienced civil litigator Jonathan Lively has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a Partner with the Toxic Tort/Mass Tort practice group.

Jonathan has over two decades of experience defending his clients, which include product manufacturers and premises owners, in courts across the country. He handles matters in a variety of areas, including toxic/mass tort, environmental, products liability, premises liability, transportation, and other civil litigation matters. Jonathan has acted as national trial counsel, national coordinating counsel, and primary local counsel, overseeing all aspects of the litigation process for thousands of matters per year.

Prior to joining Foley Mansfield, Jonathan built his practice in the Chicago office of a large law firm. He was a Law Clerk with the United States Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs, later joining the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Mobile Sources in a similar role.

Jonathan earned his J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., and his B.A. in Arts, Economics and Public Policy from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
