Foley & Mansfield Receives LACBA Patriotic Hall Legal Clinic Award

Foley & Mansfield was honored to receive the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Patriotic Hall Legal Clinic Award at the Los Angeles Bar Association’s Armed Forces Ball held on October 19, 2019 at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. 

The firm’s Los Angeles office has participated in the LACBA Veteran’s Legal Services Clinic since 2014, with attorneys and paralegals providing pro bono services to over 150 veterans. Many Veterans have a difficult time after leaving military service, and a significant number suffer from PTSD and other challenges which lead to fines, convictions, and loss of drivers and vocational licenses. Through the Veteran’s Legal Services Clinic, our volunteers have helped former military service men and women remove or alleviate barriers to employment and shelter. 

Accepting the award for Foley & Mansfield in full dress uniform was partner Tom Scully, a retired Marine Colonel. Among the volunteers from the Los Angeles office attending the event were partner Margaret Johnson, associates Nicole Vongchanglor and Trevis Niemeyer, and paralegals Kathleen Keane and Jessica Hooks.
