Foley & Mansfield Partner Elizabeth Sorenson Brotten Takes the Helm in Minneapolis

Foley & Mansfield partner Elizabeth Sorenson Brotten has been tapped to lead the firm’s Minneapolis office as Managing Partner. Liz is an established litigator with expertise in product liability and mass tort/toxic tort litigation.  She is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and co-chair of the Product Liability practice group.

Over the years, we have seen her lead as national coordinating counsel successfully defending a range of clients; she has taken on leadership roles in several defense organizations; and she has been an invaluable leader in helping to steer several of our firm’s initiatives including its strategic planning initiatives. She is a well-known litigator throughout the Midwest, and a naturally influential leader. We are confident in the skills she will bring to this role and the service excellence she will continue to bring to our clients.   

Brotten will step into this new position immediately, taking over for Lisa Lamm Bachman who has served in this role for many years as the Minneapolis office’s first woman Managing Partner. Bachman will focus on leading the firm’s Employment Practice group and further expanding the Commercial Practice group in Minneapolis.
