Foley & Mansfield elects five new Partners and one Equity Partner

Foley & Mansfield is proud to announce the election of 5 attorneys to partner and one elected to Equity Partner, effective January 1, 2022.

The new partners are:

Kelly Casey (Miami) – Kelly focuses her practice on professional liability and medical malpractice defense. Kelly handles all aspects of claims on behalf of medical providers, which include hospitals, physicians, and nurses. In the insurance defense arena, Kelly has additional experience in elder law, premises, and product liability matters.

Haley Combs (St. Louis) – Hayley focuses her practice on the defense of cases in the areas of product liability and toxic tort litigation, particularly asbestos and talcum powder litigation.  She has broad client experience and has managed thousands of claims brought against manufacturers of a variety of products, premises, and contractors in both Illinois and Missouri.

Tessa Mansfield Hirte (Minneapolis) – Tessa defends employers in all aspects of labor and employment-related litigation. She draws upon her practical experience and creative legal thinking to craft effective litigation strategies. Tessa, along with partner Ashleigh Johnson, has founded a blog titled “Employment Law Connection”.

Mary Street (Miami) – Mary focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense and civil appeals. Mary handles all aspects of claims on behalf of medical providers, including hospitals, physicians, and nurses. She also has experience in insurance coverage matters.

Viviana Varela (Miami) – Viviana focuses her practice on the defense of medical malpractice claims against healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals, and nurses. Viviana has represented a range of clients including individual medical providers, hospital systems, insurance carriers, big-box retailers, premises owners, and employers in all phases of litigation.

The firm’s new Equity partner is:

Dustin Priebe (Denver/Los Angeles) – Dustin is the chair of the firm’s Transportation practice group. He is a civil trial attorney with more than a decade of experience. He frequently litigates complex cases involving numerous parties, diverse claims for relief, and insurance coverage overlay. Dustin has acted as the first-chair attorney in several multi-day trials and handled numerous appeals.
