Foley Mansfield Achieves 2024-2025 Mansfield Certification Plus

Foley Mansfield, a national toxic tort defense law firm, has achieved 2024–2025 Mansfield Certification through Diversity Lab, a designation earned by the firm each year since 2021. We are also honored to have achieved Certification Plus status again.  The Mansfield Rule was established in 2016 during the Women in Law Hackathon held by Diversity Lab in partnership with Bloomberg Law and Stanford Law School. The certification program was named after Arabella Mansfield, the firm woman permitted to practice law in the U.S.

To achieve “Plus” certification, firms voluntarily provide information that confirms efforts are made by the firm to broaden talent pools, and increase transparency of the firm’s advancement process to enhance fair and equal opportunities for talent to advance into leadership. In addition to the internal review of recruitment and advancement, as part of the certification process, the firm’s lawyers participate in client pitch teams and other high-value business development activities, helping to ensure that professional growth is aligned with both individual goals and firm priorities.

Mansfield’s data and methodology shows that the firms who remain committed and accountable to the Mansfield Certification process make substantial progress in expanding their talent pools and access to leadership opportunities.
