Elizabeth Sorenson Brotten named Officer (Secretary) of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association

Foley & Mansfield is proud to announce that partner Elizabeth “Liz” Sorenson Brotten (Minneapolis) has been elected to serve as the 2021-2022 Secretary of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA).

A MDLA member since 2013, Liz has served on the Board of Directors for three years, chaired its Products Liability Committee, and co-founded its Women in the Law Committee.

Liz Sorenson Brotten devotes her practice to the defense of product manufacturers, suppliers, and installers in high-risk product liability and toxic tort cases. Brotten also received the 2018 and 2020 President’s Awards in recognition of her service to the organization through her work co-founding and leading MDLA’s Women in the Law Committee.

She is also chair of Foley & Mansfield’s Product Liability Practice and is a member of the Executive Committee.
