Foley Mansfield is delighted to announce our 2026 participants in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) professional development program. Partner Ebony Morris Hughes has been selected as the firm’s 2026 LCLD Fellow and Associates Alaina Jraige and Vivian Lin were chosen as our 2026 LCLD Pathfinders.

Ebony, an experienced litigator in the firm’s New Orleans office, will participate in the LCLD Fellows program. The program offers high-potential, mid-career attorneys at LCLD Member organizations the opportunity to develop leadership skills and build meaningful relationships within the legal profession. LCLD Fellows participate in training sessions and are given opportunities to interact with key legal and business leaders of large U.S. corporations and managing partners from the country’s most prestigious law firms.

Ebony regularly handles transportation, mass tort, complex casualty, and talc defense litigation matters for her clients, which include educational institutions, Fortune 100 and 500 corporations, insurance companies, small businesses, and individuals. Ebony currently serves as an active member of the Defense Research Institute (“DRI”), serving as Chair of the organization’s Women of Color Subcommittee and as the Chair of DRI’s 2025 Diversity for Success Seminar.

Alaina Jraige of Chicago and Vivian Lin of Los Angeles will participate in the seven-month Pathfinder program, which provides high-potential, early-career attorneys with the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession while gaining foundational leadership skills and relationship-building resources. Designed as a supplement to training initiatives already in place at LCLD Member corporations and law firms, the Pathfinder Program offers practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies.

Alaina Jraige defends her clients in toxic tort/mass tort matters, particularly those involving talc and asbestos. Prior to joining Foley Mansfield as an Attorney, Alaina was a Law Clerk with the firm and a Judicial Extern with the Cook County Government. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US). Vivian Lin works closely with the firm’s products liability and toxic/mass tort practice groups, assisting on cases involving products liability and toxic/mass tort, amongst other matters. She was a legal extern for Judge Sarah I. Wheelock at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
